Originally from New Orleans, Louisianna, Desiree Miller served as the President for MERWC from 2018-2020. Desiree earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of New Orleans and Louisiana State University.
With a passion for customer service, Desiree has created a career in call center operations, managing a staff over two hundred and fifty employees. She’s worked both in the private sector and for non-profit organizations.
Desiree currently serves on the Mecklenburg County Republican Party Executive Committee along with the 9th District Executive Committee. She is also an Op-Ed contributor for the Charlotte Observer, focusing on current events and Conservative topics.
Desiree is married and has three sons and two granddaughters. She loves spending time with her family, traveling, listening to music, and reading.
